Sefo Pacific Logistics Inc. ("Sefo Pacific," "we," "us") is a licensed freight broker (MC 1685697, USDOT 4320636). This policy explains what information we collect from shippers, carriers and other business contacts, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Contact details you give us: name, company, email address and phone number.
- Shipment details: pickup and delivery locations, dates, equipment, weight and commodity.
- Carrier details for setup: MC/USDOT numbers, insurance certificates, W-9 and payment information.
- Messages you send us by email, phone call or text message.
How we use your information
- To quote, book, dispatch and track freight.
- To set up and pay carriers, and to invoice and collect from customers.
- To send calls and text messages about your quotes, loads, appointments and account.
- To meet legal, insurance and regulatory requirements.
Text messaging and mobile information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the categories of sharing described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
If you agree to receive text messages from us, we use your phone number only to send messages related to your shipments and account. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help. See our SMS Terms for details.
When we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to run your freight, for example:
- With the carrier, shipper or receiver on a load, so the freight can move.
- With service providers who help us operate, such as our transportation management system, factoring company, accounting and phone service, under confidentiality obligations.
- When required by law or to protect our rights.
None of this sharing includes text messaging opt-in data or consent, as stated above.
How we protect and keep information
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. We keep it as long as needed for business, tax and regulatory recordkeeping.
Your choices
You can ask us to update or correct your information, or to stop contacting you, by emailing us. To stop text messages, reply STOP to any message.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date above shows when it last changed.
